How To Create A Winning Presentation for Your Business (Part 3)
At Commerce Connections, members can share details about their business in a 10-minute presentation. Typically, you’ll be able to do this about 2-3 times a year, so creating a winning presentation is worth the effort to make it informative.
In addition to your 30-second commercial at weekly meetings, member presentations are a great way to showcase what your business offers. Prior to creating your presentation, pay attention to what other members do in their presentations to help you with ideas that work well.
How To Create a Presentation
7. Next, share how you help solve problems for customers. Do you save them time or money? Do you provide peace of mind or a feeling of relief when the job is done? Why do customers choose to work with you and what differentiates you from other businesses in your industry? Before and after photos can be a good example here.
8. Finally, talk about your ideal customer and who would be a good referral for you. You’re nearing the end of your presentation at this point and want members to be thinking about who they know – including themselves – that might want to do business with you.
9. Closing slide – quickly summarize what you do, how people can contact you, and any specials you may be running (discounts this month, 1st time customers specials, a free/discounted add-on service/product, etc.). You may want to have the words “Questions? Comments?” on this slide as it remains on the screen while thank everyone for their attention.
BONUS TIP: Nervous energy feels the same as excited energy, so tell yourself you feel excited about giving your presentation. Relax and have fun during your presentation. Your fellow network marketing members sincerely want to learn more about what you do and aren’t judging your public speaking skills. Practicing and planning will help you build confidence.
Whether you’re a new member of Commerce Connections or a veteran member, a quality presentation delivered with skill and ease will help you build “know, like, and trust” points with your fellow business owners.
